Tint spray comes off very easily with brake cleaning spray. Doesn't hurt the plastic, I have done mine twice.
Didn't know that.....I've sanded the spray tint off of lights before, doesn't take too long. If I didn't want my reverse lights clear I'd actually like this method better....but I'm going to stick with the spray tint so I can leave the reverse lights clear.

This tinting idea is neat, but... won't work well with the 2008 model style very well, those bullet style has too many curves and edges imho.

I think I'll try spray tinting instead

Thumbs up

Ive also used the vht and it is very easy to redo if it gets scratched. Its not as glossy as the tint. But that tint does look real good

Tint does look good, but I think VHT will hold up longer.

If you clear, wet sand and polish the VHT it will be very glossy.

If you do it right wet sand tint then wet sand then clear then wet sand then compound they will come out like glass and as far as to dark well you tell me and they are stock bulbs.

3 coats of vht

brake lights on during the day

and I've tried the tint after awhile it fades and bubbles
