Now that I have completed my interior I have the following lighting thoughts from an older dude. I was looking for subtle as in not calling attention to myself. And the blue truck was calling for blue. So the inside is all blue. I would consider some blue accent lights outside too but that is not legal in NC.

Maps - WLED-XHP5. I tried the WLED-XHP which was not bright enough in blue. I also tried the 921-X12 in cool white which was way to bright and washed out the blue. I did not try this in blue which might be ok.

Dome - Festoon 4210-xHP6. Works great.

LED strip in the foot wells - NFLS in Blue. You can buy a spool or some lengths.

License Plate - WLED-xHP in cool white. Perfect amount of light and they fit in the socket real well. I tried the 921-x12 in cool white and it was to much back there and they popped out of the socket easy.

Bed Lights - At the moment I have WLED-XHP15. I'm still not sure they are enough light. I would like brighter.

Reverse Lights - WLED-xHP13 in cool white. Surprisingly these have more lumens than the 15. I would like brighter.

And let's not forget the red eyes in the Ram - 5mm prewired LED's. They are on all the time. The UPS guy asked me about them today. hahahah.

Also, I am willing to help anyone that thinks they lack the skills to do some of this work.

Me....

Very nice pics, Anyone care to help, I'm trying to find a site with all the Led Lights I could need to change all the interior ones but not the Dash lights. I'd like to change all the exterior ones but not the flashers. I will have Blue LEd and Angel Eyes in my retrofits headlights and FogLights, And I was thinking to put Bright White led for the License plate and the Cargo lights. But the interior ones I dunnot know what could FIt with the rest... If you have suggestions and a good site to order from it would be a great help thanks!

Well, the post prior to yours has the list of the lights I installed and tried. The place that lines up with the part numbers listed in most of the posts in this thread is superbrightleds. The 2009 should be the same as the 2012 as far as I know.

The cool white LEDs are bright compared to most of the other colors. So, be careful with your choices for the inside as you can get it real bright.

Not trying to be mean, but all the info you just asked for can be found on the first page of this thread and in Mikeski's post up above.

Well we could let them go off and have thousands of questions for you to answer, but that's just not very nice lol So I think helping others like you've helped myself and a few others along is the right approach, next time warn me when you go on vacation so I can charge you for my secretarial skills lol

No problems man , for the Dome light the festoon bulb remains the same, it retains it's size in length no matter how many LED's are actually on it. For the map lights I used the 921x9 LED in cool white and they don't wash out the interior as bad as the 921x12's which I used for the reverse lights but in blue and used them for the cargo lights as well. the socket for these is relatively wide and deep so you could fit a larder bulb if you wanted. The License plate lights I used the 194x4, they light up the plate nicely and I'm not sure if anyone has gone larger, when I was installing mine I had to kind of "massage" them to get them into the small opening for some reason. Let us know if you have any more ?'s
