I had the same issue at first, I used a 9 LED Festoon Bulb, it flickered at first but I left it on for a few minutes than it worked just fine.I noticed on SBLED's website that it may be because the 6 LED bulb is a 4211 and the one for our truck is the 4410. Not sure if it makes a big difference but it's a possibility.

The sbled ones are only 2mm narrower than the stock ones. The are the same thickness and the stock prongs are more than wide enough to eat up the difference in space.

I'm actually working with someone right now having problems with the rear dome light. What color is yours?

Ah sorry didn't see you had a 3rd Gen, SS4, hope you figure that issue out. The only difference I've noticed between the 3rd and 4th gens (besides the bulbs) is that the power source on the 3rd gen is listed as a 8-30v variable source where the 4th gens are a steady 12v.

Yeah it fits into place excellent, it will flicker when the dome light is switched on, but when I turn it off and the dome light dims, the light will stop flickering, stay on solid and then dim down. Im wondering if its got something to do with the dimmer?

Edit: It seems to be working properly now, I put in a 470ohm, 1/4 watt resistor (10% I beleive) and it flickered for a bit at first but now its working great.

resistors have been the answe3r to every case of weird LEDs that i have persobnally been involved with. Problem with internet help though is if it doesnt work i dont need people up my ass why their truck isnt working. A lot of people dont understand i dont work for any LED supplier or anything like that I just help pick bulbs that i dont troubleshoot for a living, i just have a good idea of how to get them to work, i just dont need to get personally involved with every truck. Just like with all other mods sometimes shit happens, and i cant controll it lol.

Imma make a thread involving the other rear dome light once we get everything sorted out and hopefully it can help people

And believe me man your help is much appreciated! Also i found out that the power window/lock switches take 3mm LED's, so if anyone wanted to add that to the list ( 3rd gen for sure, not sure about other generations) Thanks again for your help!
