Default Mufflex DOD24M question

I have been looking at exhaust for weeks now from flowmasters to borlas and decided that the Mufflex 24 is the best option for what I'd like. Just a few questions.

Does the Mufflex 24 measure the exact same length as the stock Dual out muffler on the ram? Am I going to have to add to the piping?

Does it come with all the hardware needed to install (I.E. Clamps, instructions, etc)?

How is the break in period for those who run this system does it get much louder inside the cab as well as outside or is just a bit more subtle after a few thousand miles?

I installed mine 7 months ago & like the sound. I don't like cabin drone & this is minimal. I'm glad I didn't go any shorter. It seems about the same loudness as when new.

I'm surprised a 24" even makes a difference if you retain the stock resonators. The OE muffler is 26". I'm still debating on the "length" I want. 18" may be too much for me. 24" not enough. I was thinking 22". I wish there was a 20" Magnaflow. I know there is a 20" Dynomax Ultra Flow.

The stock muffler is a huge baffled can, where as the Maggy design is a perfect straight thru Y-pipe design that is perforated inside. Any Magnaflow muffler will make a difference. If you are worried about noise, buy a 22 or 24. The 18 is quiet when you want it to be, but I still cringe when I start the truck at 5:45 am every morning. When it's dead quiet outside, it sounds loud at idle to me. No one has complained thank god. In traffic, there is no doubt my truck is louder than 80% of the trucks on the road. BUT it is far from obnoxious, it's a good performance sound for an adult.
As far as drone goes, it's just a very low frequency vibration in 5th or 6th gear with the MDS on around 45mph. You really can't hear it unless you have the window rolled down some and the radio down low.

I just ordered the DOD24M for my 2012 1500 QC today as it seems the best choice for trying to keep it a good DD. Going with a 14" Magnaflow on my 05 Daytona which I tend to drive for fun. I read some people change the clamp on the inlet of the
DOD24M. Can someone recommend the best stainless clamp to put on the inlet? Advanced auto is where I usually go since nothing is around me.

I just ordered the DOD24M from Mufflex. The younger side of me wanted the 14" in the worst way, but I absolutely despise drone so I went with the 24", if it has ANY drone, i will get their J pipe.

Installed it last night. Took all of an hour to do if that. My truck only has 1500 miles on itso the pipes came apart pretty easy. I would recommend taking the tail pipes off first.

Very glad I went with the 24". Any more volume at accelerating I wouldn't like it, would be too much. Guess I am getting older.

Start up sounds good, idle is quiet with a bit more definition in sound. Zero drone but a touch more volume in the cab at cruising speed.

Very happy!

I did the 24 also about 4 months ago & still like the sound. I think its a lot louder than stock but hardly any drone. Glad I kept the resonator on though.
