true but as sooon as you hit the water it splashes up into the mechanical fan and flings it everywhere, trust me ive done it more than once.

id definitly invest in a snorkel..the last time that happened to me led me to spending several thousend on a new engine! im only on 500 miles lol

check plug wires as well as distributer or coil, mines coil. but i had the same problem and my plug wires were junk and when they got wet my truck missed bad. i got a 98 with the 360 and ive never had problems sucking water in my air cleaner which is stock and ive been through water up by my headlights and i got 38.5's.
