It's not the antenna because I have a shortie and still have the same tone in a cross-head wind.

Default Wind noise

I have the same truck with the same problem. Sept 2011 dealer called it in to fix wind noise coming from front door seals. They called it 'installed foam liners'. It was nothing more than a wedge about 1.5" long by 1" wide that they jammed and glued into the door seal. I found drivers side wedge stuck to the truck body and couldn't figure out what it was until I checked the pass. door. This wedge doesn't work because it causes a 'void' space where it's installed. I want anyone with this problem from USA and Canada to notify me as I need 'ammo' lots of info when I go after the dealer to prove I'm not the only one. According to 'the Forum' there are many who have this factory defect. It's not just 2011, but many years prior as well. Why should we accept this problem when we paid hard earned money to be told by the dealer to 'turn your radio louder' !!!!! With enough info from owners it could be a Class action lawsuit. Thanks

I had the foam "fix", The service manager told me I was hearing thing, Another dealer told me it was because of my dealer install mopar lift, REALLY, and another said he had a guy work on it for 4 hours "adjusting my doors. Yup still have it.

Mine was prety quite till I installed the mopar window vent guards. Now I feel like the windows leak and are making tons of noise. If i hold my finger at the top rear of the drivers window some of the wind noise goes away. It's now worse in the back seat. I don't sit back their so I have not heared how loud it is in the back seat. Just what people tell me.

don't settle as most of you paid from 32 to 45k for your truck I had wind problems and they the dealership fixed it as a bulletin item no charge, they inserted two foam pieces inside the doors.

I purchased a 2014 Longhorn last week, and am too experiencing a buffeting noise from the drivers side A-Pillar area. Very annoying. And it gets worse as you increase in speed... At highway speed, I can hear it over the radio at significant volume.

As I've tried to determine what is causing it, I folded the side view mirrors in when the noise occurs (power folding mirrors), and it 100% disappears.

Anyone know how to fix the issue when it is the side view mirror causing the noise?

Thx!

A little test I did was roll down the window when you hear it and pull the driver's mirror in, roll it up and see if it stops. I found out the whistling was sporadic but that was it. If that's not it, when you have a passenger with you get them to try it on that side it could be coming from there.
