I trying to figure out where to mount my Cb. Anyone have any advice??

I re-did my headliner last year. While I was at it I put a 1/4 inch piece of plywood (luan) up there and secured the DVD player to it with screws. However,I don't have (didn't) have anything up there to begin with.

Yeah I've got the overhead computer. If it didn't have a manual tranny I would have no problems.

Hey I have mounted my CB in a spot that i havent seen anyone else mount thiers and i love it. Its in the the little pull down cubby just below and to the right of the steering wheel. it was very easy to install the cuby comes out with i believe two screws and the cb radio is installed to the metal frame of the little cubby thing. I have one not very good picture but i can get a lot more detailed pictures if you need me too. Hope I can help!

Default CB Mount

I mounted mine in the little cubby hole above the shifter. I used that plumbers tape stuff..screwed it into the top of the cubby hole in two places. Then I put two set screws through either side of the plumbers tape stuff and into the place on either side of the CB. Holds it in place really well and it's out of the way. I mounted the mic on the other side near the steering wheel for easy access. I'll try to figure out how to get pictures up here if I can...
