Default Tonneau cover

The cover sure makes my truck look good! I agree with others having a dry secure space is the big plus. MPG increase probably minimal.

I've had hard, soft and in between tonneau covers in the past from small to full-sized pickups.

My first few I tried and tested vigorously for MPG gains over various driving techniques. Never saw an MPG increase from any of them.

But that's [MPG] not the reason I purchased them for any of the vehicles. Security and general protection of bed accessories was always my number one reason/concern.

For the record, the very best tonneau cover I owned was a fiberglass ARE coor-matched on my 05' Ford Screw. Fit-n-finish, appearence, functionality and pretty much everything was just top notch. If ARE had a hard tonneau cover for my Rambox model I now own, I would jump on it in a heartbeat.

Truck was sold today [5/19]. I got an offer I couldn't turn down. I had no more need for a pickup so I cut it loose. About to purchase a '14 Jeep SRT8 this week.

Grub out!

Don't have one yet, but that's the first planned accessory. Still debating the BAK Roll-X or the RollNLock.

I just got a Bakflip HD installed on Monday. So far I love it. I really like how its almost flush with the bedrail, and able to open the tailgate first. I like it way better than the solid fiberglass covers.

I’m looking a new tonneau covers for my 2012 Sport also, so far I’m interested in:
1.BAKFlip F1 $850
2.BAKFlip F1 with BAKBox $1100
3.Retrax Pro $1,600
4.Retrax Power Trax One w/remote $1750
Does anyone have these or can fill me in on what’s hot and what’s not
I have the TRI-GLAS color matched on my 2002 and have loved it.
I like the BAKFlip @ $850 so I can put the rest on the money towards a Magnaflow 16869 Cat-Back…

Going on NEW 2012 Red Sport Crew Cab
Thanks
