Cool CAI brace question

Hey I have a homebrew 4 inch CAI, it works great and I gained 1.5 miles a gallon switching to it! MY question is HOW Did anyone else who done this themselves brace the setup.
I mean like on a KN right before the filter there is the half box brace that the tube goes through. I need something like that anyone have any pics and instructions on how they braced theirs. If so let me know!

what is your homebrew made of? If it's metal you could tach a exhaust bracket to it and bolt it to the inside part of the fender or maybe even off the ends of the heads. Post up a pic of what we're working with. it'll make it alot easier.

You can look at the area around the engine coolant temp. sensor maybe make a hanger or something off the middle of it to a bolt? hope this helps

I didn't brace with anything. Mine lay's pretty tight to the engine and some hoses and the corner of the filter sits against the inside of the wheel well. At first I was worried it might move or vibrate loose, but it hasent budged at all.

I toyed with the idea of just wrapping some hanger strap and bolting it to any hole on the frame.

if you attach it to the body/inner fender, use a spring that has give and will let it flex. when you rev the motor it will move and so should the cai
