I have a DSP and didnt get a CEL. You wont get a CEL even if you change it while stock.
Doz, did you mess with your settings for AC on.. AC off, etc? I just looked at the 3 modes they all read 222.9 degrees which Im assuming is default with the 93 performance tune. I didnt bother with it, need more info.

I would check it the next couple of mornings/heat cyclings. The cap should be the highest point so the air will migrate there.

You could also drive the front tires up some ramps to try and help any trapped air out. This would elevate the rad cap even more and put the engine/hoses/etc. at a different angle.

Its your AC fans. You have a clutch fan which cools the radiator, not an e-fan. I left them alone.

I have not done this mod yet but I think most people adjusted their fan on/offs.

update: Doz, I found some info on the tstat fan settings, its not a ram but the challenger. They seem to be adjusting it. I havent read it all to fully understand yet but just wanted to share. http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...88895e5686bb24

Stant 14168 did not fit. It is 64mm & stock thermostat is 63mm. Also spewed out over a gallon of coolant

i did the jet 10183 ..i never really paid attention to the temp but noticed after installing the truck idled a little rougher to me and upon first start up i can hear the coolant circulating in the cab..I got an 08 hemi quad cab and don't have the fan option on my predator like everyone else..I just bled some air out as i never did that..any one have any ideas as to if something is wrong maybe

getting some air trapped in there during the swap happens. Just keep checking your rad cap for the next week or so. the bubbles will work there way to the highest point which should be your rad cap. driving it up on some ramps and letting it warm up helps.
