ok so now i have tried capacitors like you fellas, with and without the anti-flicker/lampout cancellor and the damn things still blink...wtf!

I'm also having troubles with my Hids tried the stealth auto product to no avil. gonna try the capacitor trick. Strange on how I am running a relay and still have this problem.

Im trying some 50w 6ohm resistors now, hopefully things will work out ...if not, out that crap goes!

ordered the capacitors from metro restyling that plug in between the ballast and bulb as well and still had the flickering problem. now question i have is what capacitor for sure works? i dont wanna have to buy two now then they not work and wait on two more. using a ddm tuning 35w hi/lo h13 setup with relay harness on a 2006.

Ok quick question are you guys installing the capacitors between the ballast and the bulb or between relay and ballast???

relay and ballast. do not hook them up between the ballasts and bulbs. they will go pop.

I know this is old and I still can't figure out why my hids flicker, I bought the capacitors like the first guy to post this fix, put them in the same spot (I think I did) and still they flicker, I put the positive side in the low beam, and the negative in the ground, did I install them wrong? I have a 2007 dodge ram 2500 diesel if that helps. If I did this wrong please provide me with a drawing on which ones to put it in. Thank you for your help in advance.

This thread is probably dead...but owell. I tired every combo of the cap' setup on my 2008 cummins megacab, still flickered like crazy. Had a couple other sets of hids off various other cars. Robbed a relay wiring harness off of one of them. Wired it in, WHAMO FINALLY NO DAMN BLINKING!

one just like this guy here.
