yes just the low beams need the capacitors then. while on high beams your showing a load because of the activation of the bulb moving motor so the truck computer stops the electrical pulsing looking for the load of the halogen bulb. hope that made sense. thats why they work in high beam mode.

Hi there me again, I noticed you used 4700 35v capacitors, is this better than the 1000? will it affect the performance or is it more resistant?

doesnt effect the output. those are just the ones I used. I believe both will work. I just hope it works on your bulb out in the dash. seems like on some it does and some it doesnt. but it will stop the flicker for sure.

Unhappy Did the capacitor thing and...

I did the Capacitor thing just as directed, but unfortunately no luck, I still only have the high beams when i turn on the truck. When they are in low beam mode they flicker then shut off, can anyone help me out? Or does anyone know if the canbus or light out detecting system can be shutt off??

Unfortunately, you can't shut off either the bus or detecting system. I installed some hid's in a truck today without a problem by using relays and a few diodes. But that's an entirely different solution from this one...

angshan, did you use 4700UF 35v like in the pic or different numbers? and did it make the lamp out light go away? I ordered some hid canceller capacitors that go between the bulb and ballast but mine still flicker
