Default Highbeams AND fogs POSSIBLE?

I have a 2003. I want to have my fogs and highs on at the same time. How can I do this, I saw a thing online on how to do it to older rams but none for the newer rams. Are there any tuners that can do this? Or maybe my local shop owner who will do all kinds of illegal shit to my truck if I asked him?

I don't really know if its illegal or not...but, I believe the real reason that they don't allow that, is because theres a lot of amperage running through those wires running both your high beams, and your high powered fog lights.
So, I wouldn't recommend doing that, just so you don't risk burning anything up.

Also...if you want to get technical on whats legal and illegal...driving with just your parking lights on is illegal...yet I do it all the time

the fogs go out for a reason when you turn on your high beams...I believe it is illegal too...and im sure the draw of amperes has something to do with it...If not, the dealership would have made it that way from the get go...

If you really want them, an aftermarket interuptor switch to the positive line of the fog light would override the CPU turning them off, so you could run both but the power drain would be pretty high. And i don't know about the states, but it's not illegal in Alberta, just impractical, since I only turn my fogs on in blinding snow or other crappy weather when high beams are a bigger hazard than not.

well my commute to work and school is all country roads with lots of winds and dips. For 3 miles of my trip the road is so thin and the sides so overgrown, that it is safer to drive on it at night because I can see headlights befor I see cars. Plus, it's all a nature preserve with lots of deer that like to run out in front of my beautiful truck.

Yes you can and if you send me your email I will send you a schematic along with installation instructions that I received from Mr TailLight at HighBeamKits.com when I purchased his kit which is no longer available.

Yes, for most MOPAR vehicles, there is a "European" option for the fogs and high beams to be on at the same time. It's a computer flash to change it from North America to European option. Had it done on my Chrysler.

Talk nice to your dealer....

Default highbeams and fogs possible /

This european feature you speak of would it also apply to an 09 ram /
A friend at the dealer looked it up for me..... says their is an "european" feature but he does not see anything regarding highbeams or fog lights.

Later, RR
