Lookin good folks! I'll be lifting mine soon but not sure what to do yet. Need guidance

Don't know a whole lot about offset/backspacing/tire size max clearance for all ranges of lifts.

What is minimum that a 2wd can be lifted to get 35 inchers under there and who has done it?

Some people have "supposedly" done it without lifting our trucks. Most people will level out the front end or put a small 3" body lift or suspension lift to clear the 35s for a crammed look.

It's really all about backspacing with the wheels though because the fender wells will accept a pretty large tire by themselves but rubbing is the real issue.

I like the look of your lift here. Maybe how I'd like to do mine. Could you detail for me the components you used to do this? Was it the 4"spindle plus spacers? What about the back? The more detail the better. Could you also post more photos, or send me some? I'd really appreciate it.

i used the CST kit. 6" front (with spindle and spacer) and 4" rear (just the spacer from the kit. the rear of my truck sags a little bit because i carry a few hundred pounds of stuff in there at all times. otherwise it would be leveled.

Cool, so you went with the 2" spacer in front instead of the 3". It looks good. Do you have any rub issues with your 35's at all? Do you feel they would rub if you only had the 4" spindle up front? I'd like to run a wheel tire combo like yours with minumum lift. I'd prefer just spindles and a small spacer in the rear (2"?), but unsure about rubbing. Your lift is only a little higher, an maybe the best non-rubbing option. Not sure...

It all depends on what year. The 3'rd Gen Rams can fit 35/12.5/20 and 325/60/20s with NO LIFT OR LEVEL! I have a 2005 1500 QC 2wd with STOCK suspension and I have 35x12.5x20 Mickey Thompsons. They don't "supposedly" fit, they fit. I have pics if you are interested.

You should post some pics. There's no way I could put 35s on mine without at least a leveling kit or something. So weird how different our trucks can be although they're the same years. I guess suspension sagging and poor shocks could be the culprit but weird stuff though.
