Default Tinted fog lights- 2013 Express

In case anyone was wanting to do the same....I found the Lamin-x wasn't the right size/ difficult to line up correctly.

35% tint from O'Reilly's- 8.99

That looks really good. I was going to order lamin x for the fogs last week glad I waited. How hard was it to remove the bumper cover? I've hard the grill and lights apart a few times, but have never taken off the lower bumper cover.

The bumper is fairly easy to remove. After removing the grill and lights here is what I did-
1) Remove bolts/clips for fender liner- bottom 4 on each side. The bottom 3 attach the actual bumper, but removing the 4th allows you better access to the two bolts on each side that hold the bumper behind the lights (explained better in next step
2) Behind where the lights sit there are four bolts total - 2 on the passenger side, 2 on the driver side. I believe they are 10mm bolts, so the same socket used for the headlights and grill work here as well. Remove these two from each side.
3) Underneath the truck, where the valence meets the bumper there are 4 bolts that need to be removed, also 10 mm
4) All bolts are gone at this point, I found it easier to start with one corner of the bumper and pull lightly to release the clips, and once that corner is gone go to the other. Be careful when pulling the second side, as once the clips on each side are off it will pretty much fall forward on it's own.

I didn't look up directions so it took me a little longer figuring where everything was out... but to put it on took about 10 minutes, I imagine it would be about the same to take it off.

Also, I didn't use power tools, just hand tools. So those would help too.

I just put the yellow lamin-x light covers on my fogs tonight, they are too small so the light is yellow but if you look at the truck you can see white light around the edges. I might take the bumper off and buy some yellow tint and do it myself, or maybe I'll just order a 2500k HID kit for the fogs.

Yeah, that's why I went the tint route. The lamin-x wasn't the right size.
