Default Rim offset without a lift kit ?

Hey ,

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 Sport HEMI

Stock Rim: 20X9
Backspacing : 5.24
Offset : +19

I am Looking to upgrade rims however we all know in order to get a good aggressive look there needs to be depth in the rim .

Tires I would want to keep the same : 275 60/20

But at this time I am not looking to install a lift kit yet( I know I am a wimp ......so far)

Any recommendations on the least offset I can get away with without a lift kit ?

I was thinking on Rockstar or Rockstar 2 rims :

XD Series XD775 Rockstar 20X8.5 offset 10mm
XD Series XD811 Rockstar II 20X9 offset 18mm

Can I get away with +01 ?

What about a negative offset ?

I know at some point the suspension will drop and change the handling which is not what I want .

Any pics ? please submit

If you guys can give me the proper recommendations I may go to a small 2- 3 inch lift kit

Thanks

I fit 20x9 with a +01 offset rims on my 07 Ram 1500. They're Fuel Mavericks and fit fine with about an inch of tire sticking out from the wheel wells. Running 305/55/20 Falken Wildpeaks. Also have a 2 1/2 inch leveling kit.

Thanks for the reply .

I love the Rockstar rims but it looks like I either go with something close to stock or really go all out as the other options for the rim offsets are

20 x 10 -24mm18" x 9 0mmI wonder if 20 x 9 -12mm Rockstar 2 would work ?

I went with raceline octanes 20x9 with 0 offset and stock size tires. I have an outdoorsman which has the factory fender flares. I was told this set up would get me pretty much even with the flares. I would post pictures but I haven't tried them on yet because they are my summer wheels. If your sport 20's are +19 and you go to a 0 offset your wheel will stick out 3/4" further if you stay with stock size tires.

Thanks guys so far !

I am really thinking if you go further than -12 Offset on a stock ram 1500 you really need a lift kit . I think this should be a ground rule for RAM's

I am looking to get G2Pocket style fender flares anyway but gas mileage is a issue as well .
I drive 100KM per day to work . and if I get a lift kit my current gas mileage which is 12L/100KM may go by the wayside.

Although if you have "stones"... looks beats gas mileage everytime !

I drive 75 miles round trip to work everyday so the gas mileage is big for me. I want to get some bilsteins to level my truck but I am taking it one step at a time. My truck came with the stock 17's and A/T tires. I am going to see if my new 20's with A/T tires change my mileage at all. If it doesn't I may try the bilsteins to level it next.
