Default 2004 Dodge Ram 4x4 Level?

Hey,

I am looking to level out my truck and am being turned away from the torsion bar approach as I have seen many members having problems with the CV's and other suspension/steering components. Also, heard it drives pretty rough.

Does anyone have an ideas on what I can do to make it level without turning the bars in any way?

THANK YOU

Have folks actually had a problem or think you might by cranking the bars? When my truck was new, my dealer installed an extra rear leaf and Rancho 9000 shocks then raised the front by cranking the bars. Almost 200,000 miles and no problems at all. Looks like a lift kit. I tow a 32' fifth wheel camper and the truck stays level. I just measured, front= center of ram's head in wheel to top of wheel well is just under 24" rear ram's head to top of wheel well just over 24". I just measured my friend's stock 06 Ram front measurement was 21.75" rear is 23 and looks much more jacked than mine. As far as ride, my dad is complaining his new Silverado pos rides much worse.

I personally do not know anyone with problems, but it seems that many have had or expect problems on here. How much did you raise the front with the torsion bars?
