Default My 2014 Sport CC 4x4 build (a lot of pictures)

Hi everyone, this is my first real post here, so bear with me. I bought my 1500 Sport in January, and haven't been able to drive it anywhere other than back from the dealership yet. It's not because of problems, but because of work. So, while I've been gone, I've been on a spending spree, and trying to make this truck right. This is my first brand new vehicle off the lot, and I loved it as soon as I saw it. But, it was too low for me.

I have an 06 1500 SLT 2WD that I bought practically brand new, but did all sorts of stuff to that one as well. My buddy down in Houston got me into Rams, and in my opinion, they're the best looking trucks out there, and I love the Hemi.

This is kind of going back in time a little bit, but here are some pics of the truck the day I picked it up.

So, the day I picked it up, I also had to fly back out to work (I flew home for less than a day to pick up the truck, and then fly right back out). Not much driving going on for this guy.

I've got family at home who have driven my truck more than I have, because I've been getting work done to it the whole time I've been gone. I've already had the bed Line-X'd and had the Nav installed because it didn't come with it (my fault for not noticing that).

So, I ordered a bunch of stuff. First things I ordered were the rims and tires. I got some 20x10 Moto Metal 961s with 35x12.5 Toyo MTs. I think if they would have had the Trail Grapplers, I may have gotten those. I still have no problem with Toyo MTs. I put 30k on my 33's that are on the 06, and still have a ridiculous amount of tread left. I also bought a Boondock 95 series front bumper because I live out just on the border of where civilization begins and ends in northern Wisconsin.

Then I found this forum and jeebus, you guys know how to give a guy ideas.

After seeing Andrew talking about deals, I had to hit him up. And I ended up buying a 4" BDS lift with 5100s from him. Couldn't pass up the price and the free shipping. Plus he saved me from a 4 hour round trip to have the lift installed by just buying it myself.

After the UPS and FedEx guys got to know my family on a first name basis by now, a bunch of parts have shown up and are sitting in my house....

And so finally, I find someone nearby to put the lift on. Now the reverse process of them having to lug all that stuff out. You gotta appreciate that family will take care of you when you're gone. I know it wasn't easy for them moving all this stuff around. They're definitely getting a paid night out from me.

Aaaand she's off!

Now, it's at the shop (and currently still is). So far, I've had the exhaust put on (MBRP SI/DO), the lift has been put on, with the Bilsteins at 2.1 up front, and the N-Fab running bars have been put on. The truck is getting de-badged, and the Bushwhacker pocket style flares are getting painted to match the truck.

I have a Volant CAI at home, as well as a Moe's 87mm ported TB, and a DiabloSport Trinity T-1000 from Bully's. I'm still kind of up in the air about a catch can, but it may be one of those more "peace of mind" buys.

I also have a Superwinch 12.5SR winch waiting on the front Boondock 95 series bumper with bull bar to arrive, and I just ordered the rear bumper to match. I have PIAA 540 Ion Yellow headlights for fog/winter driving, and 510 Super Whites for clear night driving, and the T-Rex Torch for looks/additional light. I'm in the process of ordering an ARE Overland cap, because I want to keep my stuff that I can't stick in the cab covered during the winter, and a tonneau cover just doesn't do it for me, because I like to do outdoor sports as well.

And here she is with the lift and tires installed. I like the look of the 961's because I like a little bit of machined in to break it up some. These are 20x10 with -24 offset (4.5"backspace). So, right now, I'm waiting on a bunch of stuff yet, but the big part of it is done. Now I just need to get home and enjoy it.

Thanks for the compliments guys, and sorry for the truck being dirty and on the lift. It's all I have right now.

When I get some newer and more updated pics, I'll post them up. There should be plenty more to come as some of the parts have different build times.
