Default factory rim/spacer for 35x12.5x20

I tried a search, but got lost! lol

If i recall correctly, the factory 20x9 sport wheel requires a 1/4" spacer to clear 35/12.50/20 wheels?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

What tires are you planning on putting on? 1/4" spacers will work with factory rims if you're planning on an AT tire. If you're looking at Toyo MT's or Nitto Trail Grapplers I'd recommend aftermarket rims since they actually measure about 13.4" wide when mounted.

brandon i was looking at either the pro comp extreme at or extreme mt2.

i thought is 1/4 was all indeed then i would look at the spacer, but I'm not interested in going any bigger with a spacer.

i just am having a hard time find a wheel i like! lol

With either of those you should be fine with 1/4" spacers on the stock wheels. There is a company that makes 3/8" hubcentric spacers as well but I forget the name of it off the top of my head... I want to say it starts with an "M". If I remember what it is I'll come back and post it up.

Ya finding wheels can definitely be a pain... there's just so many to choose from and to find one that's the exact look you're going for can take some time. The new Sport wheels do look very nice though!

Hub centric centers the wheel (and spacer in this case) on the hub of the truck rather than the lug nuts. By doing so it puts less stress on the studs and lug nuts and keeps the wheel centered on the hub properly. Many vehicles that have lug centric wheels rather than hub centric ones will experience a slight wobble or vibration at certain speeds. It's nothing terrible but it's not something you want if you can avoid it.

If you're looking at aftermarket wheels at all too most of them will come with a standard hub bore and then will have a hub adapter ring to make them hub centric to your vehicle. Make sure you get those rings if you order aftermarket wheels.

interesting...these adaptor rings, they don't come standard with the rim? thats bizarre to me! I'm guessing without them you might get tat slight shimmy you described aswell?
