In theory is should be ok to go right to 50. When I did my update I'm old school and was always taught to go threw all the updates. But is kinda a waist of time considering All the software is in each update. All it does is take up drive space.

I just did what you want to do. I have a RBZ non nav and was on 20.02.01
Downloaded both files here
Go to the Mygig 430N - RHB Garmin folder
http://www.mydrive.ch/browse#/14983985/MyGIG 430N - RHB Garmin
The username is mygig@soxag and the password is gasolio

1. Burn it to a cd as an ISO
2. Turn the key to ON (not ACC)
3. Turn the radio OFF
4. Press load and insert the CD
5. Follow the onscreen instructions

Then once its done with the 33.01.23 update do the same for the 50.00.07 update. It will restart a couple of times during the process just let it load.

Now its current version.

So you put both files on the same disk?

Anything other than the black screen?

Thanks for your response.

No I made two different disks. Really nothing other than the black screen It does look much better than the blue though.

Not sure what I did wrong but I just bricked my radio trying to do this. I'm just going to play dumb and hope the dealer will replace under warranty.
