Default I'm not going to mod it, its my daily....

Famous...last...words...I should have know better, the lst 7 vehicle all had the same mantra prepurchase...then the mods started

Started out with just a 2'' Truxx Leveling kit, ION 136 wheels and 285/65/20 BFG AT's

Then I got tired of the chrome pieces (that you know, I paid extra for with the Laramie)

Of course the chrome headlights looked out of place now...

and life was good

Unfortunately/Fortunately I took a new job (fortunate part) that required me to park in a tiny crappy parking garage (unfortunate part)

So I had to pull the leveling kit off, swap my 34.5s for 33's and for good meseaure I threw on a McGaughys drop shackle in the rear to level the back out

So I got this

Which was....ok.

And thats pretty much how it has been for the last 2 years. In that time I bought a house, renovated said house entirely, supercharged and did a bunch of work to my Mustang, truck has been at the back burner.

Well back at the end of 2013 someone decided stop signs don't apply to them

So my insurance co. replaced basically the entire left side of the truck (hood, fender, bumper and all lights, repainted both doors) to the tune of 6 grand

but it looks great again

Now as some may know I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want a Cummins truck. Like, to the point I dream about them and spend my spare time watching youtube videos. However I cant justify spending another 20grand+ on a truck right now just to get the Cummins motor simply because I want it. My Hemi does everything I need....sooooo time to mod this truck again.

Plans
- New stereo (DVD/Nav/Sat Radio and iPod) once I make heads or tails of what I need to inegrate with the Infinity system and wheel controls
- Find some outdoor parking and toss my leveling kit back on
- 35x12.5R20 Toyo MT or Trail Grapplers
- Moto Metal 962//Fuel Maverick/KMC Crux wheels
- Mopar Tow Mirrors
- Cab lights (recon smoked)
- Some kind of exhaust and fix the common dodge manifold leaks
- Tuner (Probably Diablosport)

Long term I want to black out the leather and dye all the grey black but that will come once I retire this truck from DD status.

Figure I'd make a thread to get some feedback from members, and also to motivate myself to plan and actually do this. I have one of these on another forum for my other cars and its always helped me get stuff done.

If you read this far, well, I commend you and thanks!

Sweet Truck, I was suspicious of the thread title so I had to take a look. You can't be a member of this site and somehow escape the Mod bug.

I can't not mod a vehicle. Every single vehicle I've owned has been modded from the time I started driving. Its a sickness I have no interest in curing.

Thanks, I originally wanted Black or White, when it came time to buy, I saw Mineral Grey with the metallic on dealer lot and feel in love.

Also, just ordered first go round of mods

Clarion VZ401 7in DVD Player - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Along with all the Steering wheel and amp control adaptors. I have Satelitte Radio/DVD/Ipod in the Cars I don't drive ever, but have been rocking a stock dash and basic Radio in the vehicle I log most miles in. This changes now.

Nice truck!!! Sorry to see the fender bender, and hope everyone was alright. She's looking great now! Love the darker look (lack of chrome)!!!

Audio stuff should be in Friday, giggity.

Replaced the power steering pump on the weekend, its no longer arm exercises every time I want to make a turn. Plus this gave me an opportunity to wash my truck.

Talked with Bullys performance sales on Friday, the Fuel Maverick wheels I wanted are currently on back order for like, 2-3 months.

These are the Mavericks

So now I'm considering going with my backup wheels Moto Metal 962/Gear Alloy 726

I think the Mavericks have the better spoke design, but I like the finish on the Gear's better . Decisions, decisions.

Also concered with the offset, the Fuels 20x10 have a -12 offset where as the Gears are -19 in the 20x10, not sure if thats too much outside the tire...
