Default Issues with KC Slimlites behind a Plastidipped Grill?

I plastidipped my grill black and am now interested in putting 2 KC HiLite Slimlites behind it like I've seen quite a few people do. I am wanting to get the off-road ones which have 100-watt bulbs and burn at 285,000 candlepower. Has anyone had issues or does anyone expect issues with melting off the Plastidip due to the high heat?

"Two of the most common questions we’ve been hearing have to do with temperature. A lot of folks are wondering about Plasti Dip’s “working temperature” range. Plasti Dip has been tested in temperatures from -30F all the way up to +200F. It maintains its flexibility, stretchiness, and other physical characteristics throughout this entire scale. Plasti Dip won’t get brittle or crack in the cold, and it won’t melt or become overly rubbery at high temps."

Yeah I saw that on their site before. I don't really know how hot those lights burn. I emailed KC customer service, so we'll see what they say. The lights are 130W actually, so I don't know if that means they burn hotter than 200F or not...

I swear I've seen a post on here from someone who did this, but I couldn't find it. Hopefully they see this post or anyone else who has experience with this.

Good info - thanks. I got a reply from KC customer service and they said that those lights do burn hot and they may impact the grill. So what about KC LED lights? I still want longe range light and I want to mount them behind the grill. Anyone have recommendations on that? LEDs would be cooler for sure behind the grill.
