Default Seeking Performance Advice

Currently have a 2004 qcsb with the 5.7

Have a volant cai w/powercore filter and pacesetter longtube headers. Diablosport trinity with hemifever tuning.

Im seeking advice on the best performance exhaust setup from the headers back.

Dont really care about sound, would like to keep catalytic converters but I am stumped on wether or not to go true dual with x pipe and a di/do muffler or two single mufflers.
Or should I y pipe single to si/do muffler ?

Planning on cam install within the year. Need advice on the size of piping as well as type of muffler and brands

All suggestions appreciated thanks.

I have the Borla duals, sound great, don't think it gained much rwhp. The best upgrade for me has been cam swap. I ran a sidewinder cam for years, finally we did an Inertia spartan plus cam, a more high end cam. My dyno tuner and "hemifever" tuned both cams. I have srt8 valve springs and pushrods. Tuner has it shifting at 6250 rpms now and it really hauls azz. The spartan+ got me 20 more peak rwhp over the old sidewinder. Sidewinder was a bit stronger at lower rpms, more punchy around town. Passing a car at 60 mph with the spartan + is quick. Some ported heads would be nice if you get a nice tax refund, hehe.

Right on man I definitely need to invest in a cam. Im thinking the inertia crazy spartan for my low end needs.
My exhaust now is 3 inch single back to mbrp 24in round muffler 3inch to tip.
Its okay but just seems like its not doing what it should.
Im really confused on the pipe diameter needs if running true duals with x pipe. Thinking 3 inch from headers to muffler then 2.5 inch back to tip.
