Default 2'' lift on 2013

Hey, so I have a few questions for you,

I am purchasing a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie quadcab 4x4, and I want to get a 2'' on it. Now, i don't want just any 2'' lift. I want a very nice, professional looking one. I don't know if I should get bigger rims and tires for it, or jut a nice set of very aggressive tires on the nice stock rims. What do you think on that?
Any help would be sweet.

Thanks, Ian

Ian...If your just looking to get a 2" lift just get some bilstein 5100's and set the height to 2.1 Basically it will level the front end out giving you a 2" lift. there are a bunch of posts on lifts and levels. from there you can have options as to bigger tire size and different wheels. of course it all comes down to what look your trying to achieve.

Agreed, if your looking for 2" get the bils. Keep in mind if you keep stock wheels you can not run any larger than a 295 wide tire unless you use spacers.

Also forgot to mention that spending around $200 for the shocks is a lot less than you would for some poorly made spacers or such. Plus the ride is improved with the new shocks. And you can use the extra dough on more mods... Yeah this site can be bad for your wallet!

I got the RCX Level kit, which is a 2.5 front spacer and a 1.75 rear spacer. Some dont like the rear spacer, but I wanted to maintain a bit of rake. I paid around $150 for the kit, and I'm very happy with it. Having said that, I will be getting some 5100's in the future.

Definitely check out this thread http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=159580

It will answer any questions you may have.

+1 for the RCX kit. I have the same thing and love it. rides smooth and have no issues. I'm running 35in mickey thompsons on my kit on my stock sport wheels with 1/4in spacers

I'm not knocking spacers at all. I actually enjoyed my hellbentsteels on my f150. The offset designed prevented coil to bucket contact. Does the rcx have any coil bucket contact when elongated? I know ford's just warming the knowledge on the rams.
