Default Meguiars Leather Conditioner Wipes

OK, I used some Meguiars Gold Leather Conditioning Wipes on my brand new leather seats. Cleaned them nicely bu left a slick residue and a glossy shine - not really what I wanted. I like the matte look that comes from the factory.

Also it left a funky smell. So is there any way to get it off or it is too late? I was thinking just some soap and water to remove as much as possible.

Go to your local tack shop and ask for Horseman's One Step, it's a leather cleaner/conditioner cream that really is a one-step process. I use it on my seats, on holsters, and my Granddaughter actually uses it for it's intended purpose on her saddle! Great stuff, usually will not darken the leather, and is not slick or smelly. I am pretty sure tractor supply carries it.
