Default exhuast question (newbie)

Im new to the ram truck forum but a regular member on my Camaro forum. My question to all u guys is which exhaust has the best sound on the ram. I have a 2011 ram 4x4 with the hemi. Thinking of changing the muffler this weekend. I want a nice deep rich sound but not annoying and no drone. Any help would be appreciated
Btw Im not a newbie to mods just to this truck. Camaro is modded up nicely/.

get on youtube and search for "Ram 1500 exhaust" Ram 1500 flowmaster" Ram Mufflex" Ram 1500 magnaflow, etc. There are quite a few vids out there.

14in oval magnaflow muffler or the bolt on mufflex setup will be perfect for you

I personally just did a flowmaster 40 muffler with the magnaflow catback system... sold the magnaflow muffler.

It was a bit of work to get it all going but the exhaust has great sound and direction. I had drone in my last setup but none here.

Hello, I just recently changed out my muffler on my 2012 ram 5.7 liter hemi. I initially took the entire muffler off and was running without muffler for a little because I want it to sound mean. but little did i know that my MDS would give me trouble. It sounded like a helicopter underwater. Terrible! it also ran very bad, so I called my muffler guy and he said Flowmaster makes a muffler specific for HEMI MDS. its the Flowmaster 96000 series I believe. I out this thing on and it runs great! sounds good too. no problems with MDS at all. I highly suggest you look into it. conrats on your ram purachse.

I just put in the Flowmaster American Thunder Series - Cat Back Exhaust in my truck. You could order from Autoanything for about $587 if you install yourself

http://youtu.be/rR-sTct3_sM

I left the resinators off on mine like in the video. But having the CAI really cranks it up a notch

It sounds so nice

Good Luck!
