Default ABS Wheel Speed Sensor.

hey guys,

i've been getting the U1418 error code (U1418 implausible right wheel distance signal) on my bullydog tuner which is popping the Traction Control, ABS, and Service 4x4 on my dash.

i crawled under my truck and looked at the right rear wheel, and found this sensor loooking thing, with the cable coming out.

i'm thinking its either the sensor thats damaged or the wires/cable coming from it might have been getting pinched from my rear coil springs.

is this indeed my ABS speed sensor?

I had the same problem went to the dealer and ordered a kit which had a replacement connection and cables to cut and put together. I can't find the part number but if I find it I will give it to you asap

I had the exact same problem. Dealer fixed it in a couple hours under (extended) warranty. Broken wire, they said, but didn't see it myself.

yeah that guy is your abs sensor. no other codes for that sensor? like a circuit performance/open/circuit high? if no then likely the sensor has failed. If there is circuit codes then normally there is a corroded/broken wire within 6 inches of that connector.
