Default Different spring rates on different models?

I have a new-to-me 2011 crew 4x4 hemi and it's 100% stock. When I'm out driving around and I see other 4th gen 4x4's, it seems that some of them sit a little higher in the front than mine do. I know there are leveling kits, but I find it hard to believe that almost half of the 4x4's I see around town have done this...who knows, maybe they've done it - no way to tell with out flagging people down and asking.

Anyway - my previous ride was a Jeep TJ and I know for a fact they had different spring rates for different models and equipment levels. Was just curious if that could be (one of) the differences between what I see and what I have.

I'll probably be doing the 5100's when I save some cash, but I just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else knew.

It's not changes in valances and hood styles is it or something like that? If they have levelling kits you'd be able to not only see that the front is a little higher but also that those trucks look more 'level'. If the same rake as stock appears in those trucks then something else is at play I think,.

some of the newer ones also came from factory with an option called "increased ride height" I have it on my sport (i think its standard on the sports)

but i think its around 1" of additional clearance? I could be wrong.

I see...I'll need to check out my build sheet and see what I have. It's a "Lone Star" package here in Texas. I think it's a SLT with 20" wheels and some badging...not sure. Either way, just curious...I'll probably get me some 5100's - I have about a 3" rake right now anyway, so the ever popular 2.1 setting will probably get me right where I want to be.

Thanks y'all!
