Default LED license plate and reverse lights

Hi all,
I have a 2014 ram 1500 and i just installed the led reverse lights and license plate lights. I got the fogs following the numbers listed on the sticky but they are wrong. THe fogs on the 2014 are 9006 just letting everyone know. I should have looked in my manual first but i went on sylvania and they do not even have the 2014 up yet. Anyway i am getting a bulb out notification on my screen for the license plate and reverse lights. Does anyone know which resistor i have to use to fix this problem. Will i need one for my fog lights also. Thank you

What bulbs did you put in your license plate? I bought both the phillips led #194's and also a set for superbright leds. Both sets where WAY to bright so I had to take them out. They where fine from straight behind but where actually blinding from the sides...

theres a thread on here about reverse bulbs and a seller who sells them. I just put some in and they are bright and I get no error/bulb out messages.

today I installed the resistors from Radio Shack and they work fine no error messages messages. I got 100 ohm 1w resistors just like the pics in the led fix sticky. They do clear the error messages I was confused on that but for anyone else looking it worked on my 2014 ram. Thank you everyone for the help. Next are the hid and led fogs waiting for error cancelor from ddm to come in.

I'm trying to install these resistors as well, where and how did you install them? Does it matter where on the bulb? And how easily did they fit into the socket once the resistors were on?

I soldered them on but tried to keep the resistor as high as possible so it would not interfere with the socket. It was a little hard getting them in but once in it was ok and havent had a problem. Here is a picture to look at.

Does the resistor need to actually touch the bulb or just the leads onto the flat part?

Just the leads one on each side. The resistor almost touches bulb or does touch bulb. You want it to be tight so you do not have a lroblem getting it into socket.
