Default top CAI systems…not K&N please

help…

I'm looking for an intake for my brand new ram 1500 and would like ya'll to recommend an intake system for me.

Ive seen legit studies that prove K&N filters are some of the best when it comes to air flow, but it has also been proven that they are some of the worst when it comes to actually filtering dust and dirt from the air…

since even the best flowing K&N filter can only realistically add 1 or 2 HP or MPG, i was hoping yall could recommend me something other than K&N that is better flowing than stock, yet provides better filtration than K&N…

(I also understand the K&N intake systems CAN actually add more than just 1 or 2 HO or MPG when oaired with a tuner, but i will never add a tuner to my truck…not anytime soon at least)

So I guess the top 3 important things im looking for in an intake system (in order) are…

1. ability to filter dust and dirt from the air
2. sound
3. look

What are some good/cool intake systems for my 2014 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI…?

Its hard to find anything for this truck because its so new...

thanks

I love the look of the S&Bs, and people have good things to say about them

They all do very little... Some do a tiny bit more than very little... Check out K&N Blackhawk Series, S&B, Vararam, Airaid, Volant, AFE. And pick the one you think looks best. People all have their personal opinions on these things. So just form your own personal opinion about one and slap it on.

I think that there is very little difference between the lot of them when it come to performance and that includes the stock with a drop in filter, but, in my opinion Vararam is hands down the best looking.

Vararam all the way! I have had a cold air intake on every car/truck I have owned since I was 16 and the vararam is the only one I have ever "felt" a difference with. It's not a night and day difference off the line, it's in the upper RPM's that it shines as it is not only cold(outside) air but also a somewhat ram air intake, that's why it does so well in the upper RPM's, you can feel it pulls much harder...

And it looks killer!
