Default DDM HID Kit

Anyone with a 2012-2014 install a DDM HID kit in the quad headlamps (non-projector)? I am curious if one uses the "dual-in/Dual out" harness if the error cancellors are needed? I have installed a kit on my son's Dodge Avenger without them but curious if anyone has expierence.

The rams are pretty finicky when it comes to HID installation, you should email them and give them your truck info, year, etc and gt them to provide you a complete kit that will work with your truck.

Do a quick search for gcscott (I think that's his username) on the forum. I know he has a DDM kit in his fog lights and I believe he added them in his headlights as well. He's the only one I'm aware of running DDM stuff. Most guys on the forum are using Retro Solutions.

The Wiring harness kit from DDM tuning has the 2 headlight plug ins, I called and verfied. Now if I am not mistaken they also sell warning cancellors. Since they are like $10 for the pair it wouldn't hurt to order them just in case. Even if you find you don't need them it would save you from ordering them in the future.

My HID kit is from HIDSRUS, canbus 35w AC digital ballast. No wiring harness. I have the projectors though. Once I confirm they continue to work after a little bit I'll do a review. Had them in and working for 2 weeks now.

chuck2417- I installed one of the harnesses on my son's car and it only requires input from one side or the other. I am unsure about the need for the error cancellors yet. My son's 2012 Dodge Avenger did not need them. Actually, I hooked it up and it blew up so I was aggravated and removed it then re-plugged it and it was fine with just the harness with the relay and fuse.

I installed 35 watt, DDM HID's in my fog lights only. You have to use a wiring harness to get full power to the ballasts. I do not recommend using the Can Bus error corrector/cancelers they put to much stress on the wiring and the TIPM module. JMO.

I have Retro--Solutions 55 watt HID's in my low beam headlights.
