Default Flowmaster Popping

Tonight on my way into work, my flowmaster super 10 started popping whenever my truck went into the next gear. I did floor it from take off from a red light. Does anyone know why it pops?

Do you have duels?.. I don't know what it actually is but I know when my friend rev's the bags off his chev with super 44 and duels does the same thing. It could just be a manifold inside of the muffler itself causing the noise.

Was a terrible idea to wear headphones for that.. think I may have had an accident ... It sounds real nice.
Now for the popping sounds, I think it is just the muffler itself as you are going hard on the gas and when it shifts the rpms drop and probably just causing some wierd air pattern with the super small muffler.

probably should of put a caution sign lol, and thanks I've been kinda of regretting not getting a super 44 though. So if the popping continues that won't break the super 10 will it?

I don't think so.. If no one chimes in, maybe just drop an exhaust shop and ask them about it. Just say your wondering if that is normal.

I got the super44, and was debating the super 10 lol.

it sounds normal to me..I may have to get headphones to really hear it... but i don't hear anything out of the ordinary...being a smaller muffler you tend to hear the 'backfires more', kinda like when you hear open pipes..you can hear the raw exhaust here with my open cutouts and you can hear when I let off gas, its the same effect as your between shifts..
