Default Tires

Anyone have any opinions on the best tires out there? I'm looking for something that will do well on the road and trail and won't wear out too soon.

I have always had good luck with BFG All Terrarin, never been in anything really deep, but they are a good tire all around. I have also had good look with Nitto terra grapplers. I have gotten 56K out of the BFG's and 48K out of the Nittos.

I have Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Best tires I have ever had. Amazing traction and I have a buddy who got 50k miles out of them.

Toyo Open Country MT's, or Nitto Trail Grapplers, I have consistently seen both of these tires get 40k+ out of them when maintained properly here is a pick of the Toyo's (this is my personal favorite and what I ran on just about every one of my trucks, suv's, and jeeps. When it comes to cars I still run Toyos most of the time but i'll run a street tire of coarse)

X2
They also have good snow and ice traction as well
Mine currently have 70,000 kms on them, getting close to the wear bars now though. Lots of towing miles on mine too.

I run the Toyo Open Country M/T's and they do everything I want. Mud, random terrain, road.. Everything is good.

I would highly recommend Yokahama GEOLANDER. It has a good combination of on road and offroad tires, quite on highway, perform well on wet roads, smooth ride, light weight which means more gas mileage, offroad really perform well and bite the sandy and rocky terrain.

I plan to go with the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10's. They get great reviews for on and off road as well as snow and ice. Worked out a deal with the dealer to have them switched out before I take delivery with a credit for the stockers.
