Default Need Help from You Experts!

I have a '97 Ram 1500.

I recently replaced the front driver's side headlight assembly.

Yesterday evening I noticed the turn signal part of the new assembly dangling down on the fender hanging by the light bulb cord.

Inspecting it I saw the marker light is supposed to slide in on the side of the headlight assembly, but when I do so there is nothing there to secure it.

My question is can I permanently glue it together with the headlight assembly or will that make replacing the bulb impossible?

I don't really want to buy another whole headlight assembly......

Thanks so much,

M. Karns

The turn signal slides in. at the bottom (side view) there should be one phillips screw that goes into the headlight bracket. The bottom of the turn signal housing should have two small tabs sticking straight down that the screw goes in-between.

see the little slot in the rear-lower of this one?

I'd look at as a plus. I'm sure you've been screwed before so look at as the rare opportunity to be un-screwed.

The headlight housing may be broken, but trust me, there's supposed to be one screw in there to hold it in place.

The how-to moron forgets to tell you you need a phillips screw driver...but uses one to remove the parking light.
