From my experience, it takes a LOT to get the airbags out. Which is actually a good thing in my eyes. If it had deployed I wouldn't be surprised if you were dealing with a small concussion and broken nose.

It's a truck, it'll usually take a pretty hard hit. In my 2000 ram I had a lady that decided to not yield her left turn at a green light and I t-boned her like she owed me money. Truck was a total loss but no airbags deployed, I didn't have a single scratch on me. Actually got out of the truck and yelled, look, my light is STILL green!

Crazy, man. But I didn't ding an A-pillar or the roof, either.

~Chris
are the A-pillar and the roof repairable,..? or they have to replace?

They would just replace the roof panel. If they can get a new one from Chrysler, it would cost under $500 for the part and then another couple grand in labor etc. The A-pillar piece will need to be replaced too because its a structural part in the event of a rollover.

sorry to hear about your accident. Glad that you're OK.

I have no knowledge of what they tend to do when it comes to repair/ total.

I myself would be trying to talk 'em in to totaling, and then simply starting over. As it is you'll be in a rental for quite a while, while they figure it out, especially if they go for the repair.

Wow! Glad you are ok, sorry about your truck. What you'll likely have to look at to decide to repair or replace is what your insurance company will decide - assuming you have insurance. The insurance company will usually "total" your vehicle if the repair cost is 80% or more of the vehicle's value. So, depending upon the repair estimate and what you can find as the value (e.g. Kelly Blue Book), you should have a pretty good idea of how the insurance company will go. IMHO a vehicle that's had major damage repaired is never the same. My wife had a 91 Firebird totaled and repaired, and tho it looked great it was never really the same. I'd have to think you'll be very happy in a 2014!
