Default 295/65r/20 w/ 2" level

Does anyone have any issues with rubbing with these? I'm looking to fill up the wheel wells. I installed HB 2" level kit and want to make sure if I install these size tires on factory 20x8 that they won't rub. Any thoughts?

To run a 295/65 which is 35x12.5 wouldnt you need atleast a 20x9 wheel? I cant see that fitting properly on a 20x8..

I'm not sure, I was hoping somebody on here can give me some guidance and if possible what is the biggest tire I can fit on the factory 20x8s I have without rubbing and or going with different wheels.

I had the 295/60's (same width as the 65's) mounted on factory 20 x 8's with a 2' level (refer to my profile album pics) for about a year. I had a slight rub at full lock in reverse, I would just adjust the turn a little to stop it. I now have the same tires mounted on aftermarket wheels with 0mm offset so there is no rub at all. I am going to upgrade to the 295/65's once my 60's wear out. It's the width of the tire that's the issue, not the height. I would have started with the 65's if I knew that back then. Good luck with your research and pending tire purchase!

I'm running them. Tiny bit of scrub at full lock every once in a while up front. I have found that they will also rub on the rear wheel well at full flex offroad but otherwise no issues at all.

I have 1/4" wheels spacers on and not sure if you will need them or not. I needed them when I had 35x12.5" tires but the 295/65 is a bit narrower I think.

They will fit fine on your 20x8 wheels. I have 38" swampers on 15x7" steel wheels on my 2000 ram and have no problems. They actually call this a poor mans beadlock for offroading because the skinny wheel and wide tire make a strong seal.

Ive got them the 295/65 20s on my ram and rubbed a tad on the front sway bar, i put a 1/4" spacer and now it doesnt rub at all in front. I also get some rub on the rear wheel well liners when the suspension starts flexing like hodge said.
