Time for updates
First thing we bought our truck were Weathertech FloorLiner front floor mats. I wasn't sure if I'd like them since they don't use the dual anchor points that the factory mats use, but I have no beef with them.
The other upgrade right out of the box was the dealer-installed spray-in bedliner. Why trucks don't come with these installed standard across the board is a mystery to me.
Our big bad truck wears cute little "PUGGED" license plates. We have four pugs and volunteer for a pug rescue operation, and, theoretically, the truck is going to be the dog-hauler although we haven't invited them into it just yet.
It was only a week after we bought the truck when we got the first "hey I need something hauled!" phone call. A friend is renovating his house and for some reason couldn't fit a load of drywall into his Camry. Imagine that.
Next stop was SSC Tint & Graphics in Elizabethtown, PA where our buddy Mike tinted the front door windows.
The wife took this picture of me trying to visualize the installation of our Westin Pro Traxx side steps, suggesting I bring them to a shop to let them do the work. Let a shop do something I can do myself? Preposterous!
Big truck towers over the rest of the fleet
Decent looking truck
Last upgrade to show off is the Leer 700 bed cover, painted to match. Now the truck is pretty much set up the way we want it, so I washed it, waxed it, and brought it to the park for its glamour shots. Late-afternoon sun played havoc with my meager photography skills, but it did do a good job of making all that chrome really pop.
News flash: Ram is roughly twice as big as a Toyota Yaris
We'll check back in in another month or so!
