Default Looking for a good leveling kit.

Ok so I'm wanting to level my 2008 Ram 1500 4.7L RWD Truck. I have heard both about the spacers and the adjustable suspension. Will someone please help me find what I really want. Want my truck to be level (bring the front end up). thanks in advance.

Take a measurment at the wheel wells front and back to start the differance between the two will give the number you will need to level the truck.if you plan on towing with the truck get the adjustable, if not just get spacers installed up front and if later you decide to tow you can always get a set of overload springs for the back or airbags.i dont recomend air bags due to the fack they are rubber and will need to be replaced due to wheathering over time similar to tires.

Default ok, another question>?

Ok so I have another question then, as far as the adjustable ones, is it just for the front or do I need all four shocks to be adjustable? thanks

Its always best to have 4 of the same manufactures shocks on your truck but I Leveled my truck with Bilstiens adjustables set at 2.1 and I am now 1/2in lower in the front than the rear, The Bilstiens 5100 i used are specific for 4x4.

I assume since you said RWD that means you are 2wd only.

i only ever see polyurethane spacers for 2wd trucks. personally not a fan but I think it's your only choice.

you can try to google around for steel spacers.

Poly spacers don't make as much noise as the steel ones though

I suppose. I had poly spacers on my 2wd f150 and after 8 months you couldn't even tell it was leveled anymore.

Maybe they work better on the rams. not sure, don't see many people running them. A lot of people get on here asking how to level their 2wds, then I never see any follow up.

It really depends on what you want. Look deep inside yourself and ask the question, 'what will make me the happiest?'
