Question want to purchase zone 4" help with my set up

i am leaning to purchase a zone 4" suspension with 3" rear coil for my 2012 1500 quad cab 4x4 the price i have found is 1385.00 shipped seems fair so i want to run my stock 20x9 chrome clads and get a 35" tire . i have adjustable 5100 bilstiens on front set at max but want to adjust them to leave me with about 1 to 1 1/4" rake before i adjust them i will have a 2" rake any advice would be apprciated thanks

To leave about 1-1.25" of rake you'll want to set your Bilsteins at 0 when you install the lift.

In order to run 35x12.5 tires on your stock wheels you're going to need spacers. Typically 1/4" spacers are enough but it depends on the tire and the truck.... Toyo MT's and Nitto Trail Grapplers for example actually measure 13.4" wide when mounted.

Who did you get the quote for the lift from? I'm not very familiar with Zone lift pricing but if you haven't talked to the guys at Bully's Performance I would highly recommend that you do. Just let them know what you want and that you're a forum member and they'll hook you up with great pricing. Send them an email at sales@bullysperformance.com

theres one other thing i have the rcx 1.25 bl so while im researching and adding things up i will be about 5 1/4" in front and 4 1/4" inn rear and a rake of 2" so i will have to raise bilstiens and end up with 6" in front not gonna work wont fit in garage so i should go with rear 2" spacer and puts me back to rcx kit due to price not sure what best way to go is i have spacers custom made 3/8" hub whell centric should i remove bl to be able to go with rear 3" spring ?

How much room do you have from your roof to your garage door opening right now?

gonna check today / which option do you think will be best both of these scenarios will be from each lift choice and the 1.25" bl already installed
iam going to keep my 275/65/20 gyr dura tracs on till they wear out 34 x 11.5 (actual) then 35x 12???? still on stock wheel 20x9

the way it is now with bilstiens at 2.8 / 1.75 rear coil spacer / 1.25 rcx bl
front 40.50 rear 42.75 2.25 rake

opt 1. zone 4" with 3" rear coil bilstiens back down to 0
front 42.00 rear 44.00 2.00 rake

opt. 2 rcx 4" with 2" rear spaacer bilstiens back down to 0
front 42.00 rear 43.00 1.00 rake

about a 300.00 difference from both kits zone has less trimming and a 5/60 waranty program in event of manufacture disputes?

Personally I would run the Zone kit with 3" rear coils and Bilsteins at 0.7". That's the best set up you can get for a 4" lift IMO. Then slap some 35x12.5's on there once your tires wear out. Obviously you might be limited by your garage door height though....

I'm not a fan of body lifts at all and not a fan of rear coil spacers either... Again just a personal preference thing. So if you don't have to run either of them to achieve your desired lift height I wouldn't....

i have 6" clearance for garage so i think im ok i jacked up truck to look at different heights i just have this thought that with the set up you state which makes the most sense is going to look funny with 35 s i really dont want to go with a 37 i agree about spacers and have that thought in back of head about removing body lift but i havent had any issues with it and it is not noticable what to do what to do
if i did get the rcx do i really need kicker bars? just wonderin zone dosent show them

You'd need a 6" lift to go up to 37's. 35's look great with a 4" lift.

I recommend getting the Zone 4" kit over the RCX 4" kit. The RCX one only uses rear coil spacers while the Zone kit gives you the option of getting the rear coils which is a better set up.
The kicker bars are for a bit of added stability and they look kinda cool IMO.

sounds good ill up date when i make a decision just looking at it as the 4" plus body and bilstiens up to .7 i will end up 6" front 4 1/4 rear thats only 3/4" less in rear than the 6" kit just thinking the 4" with 2" rear spacer ending up with 5 1/4 front 3 1/4 rear and bilst at o may fit tire better this is after today in my garage with floor jack.. the zone has a option for 2" spacer or 3" spring afraid a 35 which most are 34.6 will look small and i do not want 37s ?????????

Go with the 3" spring. The 35s will look right at home man. I don't think 37s would even fit with this set up.
