Default Mirror/Door handle covers

Sorry, it is me again. I will try to keep this question short and sweet. I just purchased a CPO 2012 1500 Crew Cab Outdoorsman with all the bells and whistles. The mirrors are standard black as are the door handles. Is there any way to get white mirror covers since I have blinkers on them and can I replace the handles to match the bright white? The one thing I might have a problem with is that not only is the door handle black, where it is connected to also has black plastic.

I may even be open to the chrome covers they use but will still face the problem of the black plastic attached to the handles. Any ideas? Thanks. Mark

Default Wow

the mirrors and handles look great. Were the door handles difficult to replace? I just wanted to make sure the entire handle comes off so the black is all gone. It looks fantastic. Now onto your paint job, how the heck did you get the paint to match and then how does it look so smooth and clean? Was it tough to get the paint to stick to the black (many coats)? It is awesome looking. Thanks. Mark

My dad does body work so he did the mirrors in his shop. He used an adhesion promoter for plastic and then just a reg base coat clear coat job. Because if the textured plastic it looks a lil differant which is why i bought new handles instead of painting mine. I paid 250ish for all 4 pre painted to match. The handles come off as 1 piece. It took us about an hour n a half to change all 4. I could give u directions on how to do it tho. The mirrors he took off to do which is really easy

I like my painted mirrors. Hey Jhouse ...did you think about getting the black part that goes from the mirror to the door painted? I think that body colored would look great!

Actually that was my plan. My dad did them when i was outta town. There was a sport at his shop so he decided to match the color scheme on it. I didnt like it at first but it grew on ne
