Arrow Need Info on 2WD 4th Gen Lifts

Now this isn't my first time lifting a truck (its my second, lol), but the suspension on my RAM is heads and tails different from my Titan. My Titan was front coilover & rear leafs, doesn't get much easier than that. For some reason though, I'm having a hard time figuring out what exactly my options are for lifting my RAM. I'm just looking for some verification I guess...

1. From what I've gathered so far there's the typical BL, spindles, and coil spacers. What about lift springs?

2. Again, just to verify, there aren't any adjustable front shocks for our 2WD's? What about just longer shocks period? I could have sworn I read about someone with a Pro Comp lift getting longer front shocks installed...

3. (cont. from #3) What about longer rear shocks?

4. This question still kind of goes along with the above, but what works on our 2WD that works on other series RAM's? For example, I believe the spindles all the way from '02 and up will work on my 2010? What about lift spacers, shocks, springs, etc.?

Thanks in advanced for anyone's help! I know there's a plethora of threads here, but its hard to search for 2WD stuff, it's too short of a word for the search to recognize.

Actually, the new Ram's front suspension is basically the same as your old Titan. It's IFS with coilover shocks. The rear is different of course having coilsprings, but it's pretty simple. Your options are limited being 4x2 unfortunately. Basically you have body lifts, leveling kits (or leveling coilovers). But the best option is the CST lift kit. They make lifted spindles that con be combined with a spacer up front.

Yes, they both have Independent Suspension, but the Titan is more similar to a 4WD Ram than it is to my 2WD... I know it's a trivial difference, but they are coil-over-strut design, where my RAM's front spring sits on a control arm (separate from the shock tube), more typical to IRS setups.

And no, I don't have "leveling coilovers" as an option, unless you can be more specific....

CST is really one of your only options for a lift for your 2wd. As far as common, on the market lifts are concerned.

Oh, so the PA Body Lifts wont work? Or any of the lift spindles offered by multiple companies? And I can't level my RAM?

Kind of a buzz-kill if CST is my only option...

yes body lifts will work. I was thinking u were looking for suspension lifts.

im sure there are other parts you can buy to get the job done. But the most common FULL KIT is cst...i haven't heard of any others.

it's not a bad kit...check it out.

They make rear lift springs and rear lift spacers. Not sure of many brands besides Cst like these other guys stated. If you go more than 2"-2.5" in the rear, it will be required to get longer shocks, along with track bar drop down bracket and sway bar end link extensions. I have seen several threads that you cannot use longer shocks for the front due to no protection of over flexing and the coil bucket hitting the upper control arm, or something like that, not exactly sure what the problem was. I have seen guys use a slightly longer shock in the front with no issues, but it's not advised. Ready lift also makes a leveling kit that is popular for our 2wd, think it is 2.5"front and 1.75" rear level lift. I have the cst 4" lift and love they way it rides, basically stock driving.

Ya the front suspension of my '13 4x4 is almost identical as it was to my titan. Leveling kit up front was almost the exact same procedure to do my ram as it was my T... GM's however are a whole different story. Did my buddy's '11 sierra and holy crap that sucked. Awful setup.

Back to the original thread.. my buddy bought a '13 2wd express black edition, and wants to do the "mini lift" like I did on mine. So what are his options for getting 2/2.5 up front? I think this is on track to the OP's initial post

So I was lurking as I always do here and I came across this post.

Anybody have any idea where these 2WD Bilstein 5100's came from? I understand they aren't the adjustable version, but I've only been able to find the 4600 series online...
