I have been lurking... and working at my dad's shop building other peoples trucks. This week I finally got the cab wiring harness built, but now have a few issues to solve. Driver's side window rolls up and down, and both power mirrors function correctly, but passenger windows don't work, and door locks don't work... Not sure whats up with the power locks... I have power to the switches, and the switches are working right, but no power is making it back to the lock solenoids... (used the factory 1995 1500 door harnesses, and every thing worked before I took it apart)... as for the passenger window, I think I put a few wires in the wrong pinholes, I will be checking this out deeper in a few days... if I don't go out and play with my quads, I might look into this more today.

I should start a build thread for this truck.. even though its not going to be anything hardcore... I have a few more mods in the near future. I am going to make a true dual exhaust, install a cold air intake, upgrade the intake manifold, and possibly get a new cam as well.

probably should also start a new thread for this next question... but I want to hear pros and cons of performance engine tuners and chips. I need a little more get up and go for pulling my camp trailer, and playing in the mountains.

I'll be on the lookout for this tread...

The cons of chips are that they don't work.

The pros of tuners is that they do work.

Had a little bit of time to troubleshoot the problem today... Decided to to look at the switches again, to see where power was going and where it needed to go so I could fix it.. well found my passenger side switches unplugged.. plugged them back in and every thing works right now... go figure.. lol

You had an air gap in the electron flow... Yep, that'll do it every time.

The funny thing is.. the way I wired the doors up, it shouldn't have mattered if the switches were unplugged or not.. lol.. guess I miss judged something.

couple of projects I wanted to take care of...

First i hastily put together my offroad light wiring and I wanted to tighty that up and at the same time I wanted to upgrade my hydraulic winch controls to a single rocker switch mounted on the dash and move the remote to the bumper.

I also wanted to house my relays and fuses in a water tight box.
