Default 1995 Ram 1500 Power Door locks, windows and mirrors questions

I have a 1995 Dodge ram 1500 that I orignally was going to restore, but since have decided to hack up and make into my play toy. In the mean time, I bought a 2001 2500 that I drive the heck out of. My question is, The 95 has power everything, while the 2001 is a base model. I want to put the power mirrors, windows and door locks into my newer truck, and then put the manual stuff onto the 95. I am wondering if I need the wiring harness from the 95 as well, or if the wires are already in the 2001. Both trucks are extend cab, although the 01 has 4 doors. are the door panels interchangeable?
Should I jsut scrap this idea as too much hassle?

so I pulled off my door panel today on the 2001, and there aren't any wires for the power components, so I am going to make myself a harness for the locks, windows and mirrors.
I also found out that all the locks and window motors/regulators are the same up until 2002, the only difference is the switches on pre 97's... so I am going to use the switches off the 95, along with most of the wiring harness (if not the whole harness). also the door panels are the same size and shape so I will be swapping those over as well.

Yesterday, I swapped over the headliner and the overhead concil from the 95 onto the 2001, added a wiring harness for the map lights, and installed my CB. Next up is figuring out how to permanently attach my GPS and fix the stereo.

Only the Right Rear speaker and Front Left Speakers work on my Stereo.

Head unit: Sony Explode cdx-gt300
Wires:
Yellow + (battery)
Red + (Accessory)
Orange.White + (illumination)
Light Blue (phone interface Not Used?)
Blue + (antenna)
Blue?white Stripe (amp)
Black - Ground

FL speaker white/black dotted + white/black with stripe -
FR Speaker Grey + and Grey/Stripe -
RR Speaker Green + and Green/stripe -
RL Speaker Violet + and Violet Stripe -

I then used this guide to figure out how to wring it into the stock harness using a vic specific adapter harness. http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=48158

Car Radio Constant 12v+ Wire: Red
Car Radio Switched 12v+ Wire: Red/White
Car Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Car Radio Illumination Wire:N/A
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Orange/White
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger: Yellow
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A

Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Green
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Red
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Violet
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Blue/Red
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/Yellow
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Light Blue
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Blue/White
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Blue/Orange

I had a couple of unused wires from both the new Head unit and the OEM harness.
Head Unit Unused Wires was Blue White Stripe and light blue
OEM Harness Unused Wires Blue White Stripe...

After posting this.. I think I may have found my problem, going to try and see if this fixes anything
I am going to try hooking the two blue with stripes together and see what happens.

well, that didn't work... I then tried to take the wires from the RR speaker and running it to the wires for the RF speaker, and the RF speaker still didn't work. I am at a loss on what else to try..

edit: I tried wiring the radio directly to the factory harness, and I still get Left Front Speaker and Right Rear speaker... I am starting to think it is the head unit at this point in time, I tried to even just hook up another set of speakers to the head unit with out going through the truck's wiring harness with out luck.

Sooo I read through this....did this head unit work prior to the swap? Is this head unit new to this vehicle?

From what you have stated with the lights and speakers not working, I'm leaning to a bad head unit. Especially if the wiring is all hooked up correctly. If memory serves me (some times it does) the blue/white wire is for power antenna.

the head unit worked in my 95 ram prior to swapping it into my 2000. I got the head unit wiring sorted out, and it still isn't working right... no biggie though the bank gave me the go ahead to put a system into the truck as long as I put one into her car too.

For my new system, I have only figured out what head unit I want to run. I am thinking of replacing the speakers, adding kicker panel speakers, and possibly adding a overhead speaker panel into the rear of my headliner. all of this mentioned stuff is prety easy for me, just time consuming. The hard part is deciding how far out there I want this stereo to go. I got ideas to add a pair of 12's under the back seat, and I might add a second (or third) amp to run all the door speakers and overhead speakers.
