Default Best 3-4 inch lift?

Looking to up my 2010 big horn with a 3 or 4 inch lift. Problem is I don't wanna drop $1600. Is there a cheaper route to go or is it worth it to pay 4 figures? Any advice greatly appreciated.

you can get a 4" lift for a little over 1K. check out BDS, pro comp, zone, RCX.

or you can do a body lift. a lot of people aren't a fan of them.

I personally would just save up the $$ and do it right the first time. Because eventually you'll want it done that way...no sense in wasting money on intermediate steps.

people love the BDS kits. they have a 4" kit..

hit up bullysperfomance here on the forum for great pricing

Depends on what youre looking to get out of the lift. If you just want to squeeze some bigger tires on there and want the look of a nice lift, you can always go with a body lift like fishin said. A 3" body lift and a coil spacer in the front will give you a nice level lift and you can fit some bigger and wider tires. I personally agree that you should spend the cash for a nice 4" suspension lift.

If you can install the body lift yourself, they are a tremendous value. That with a two inch leveling kit would be a great combo.

As everyone stated above ^^

your wallet and your usage of your truck will dictate which route to take.
Neither are wrong or right. It just depends on the 2 factors. How much you want to spend and what you will use your truck for.

Many members do not off road here and we throw the option of level and body lift and you can achieve anywhere from 3"-5.5" depending on combinations.
5.5" of this route is taller than most actual lift kits with the exception of RCX which is 5.5" as well

Bilsteins (2.75) and 1.25" body lift will run you $350 shipped for 4" of lift

4" RCX full suspension lift will run you $1250 shipped

Both are plus installation, but quite a few here install themselves to save on labor.

Again, its all it what you do with your truck, dollars you want to spend.

Let me know if there is anything I can assist with
