The one in Canada (hottexhaust) sells a copycat to the mufflex' it's still a magnaflow muffler but the dual pipes don't come with double hangers and only 1 band clamp that has a hanger welded to it and the overall fit is not the same without modifications in order for the tips to stay the same as the factory location.

Default Exhaust

I'm changing my 14" Magna Flow out, I'm going with straight pipes through too the resonators, or I Might go with dual cherry bomb's. I have heard them on YouTube sounds great. So I might be selling mine.

I have a 14" magnaflow 3" single in 2.5" dual out and just did my resonators deletes this weekend myself luckily I have access to a mig and lemme tell you extremely happy go listen to some on YouTube first it'll give you an idea of what to expect not too loud for the kids and no drone but sounds sweet when taking off trust me do it you won't be disappointed muffler runs about 160 online and shop shouldn't charge you too much to weld it in and remove the resonators if you want them removed

I have run the 14" Magna Flow Cat back system with the resonators removed and 5" tips for about six months now. I have had many compliments about the sound.
However I want more sound. That's why I'M thinking of going back to stock pipes without the muffler, just the resonators. The other idea I have is to go true duals, by putting on a pair of cherry bomb glass pack mufflers, without the resonators and Y pipe.
I'll put a youtube link on here when i decide which route I go.

I started out with a flowmaster 40 on mine but it was louder than I prefer and had some pretty mean drone at highway speeds and when the MDS kicked on. Swapped it out for a FM50 and have been very happy with it.

Id suggest a muffler that improves flow as well as sound......thats why I picked the magnaflow over flowmaster.

I got the 18....and for me its perfect. Sounds lower and meaner, but not overwhelmingly loud and no drone. Some like alot of noise, but Im just a fan of a nice growl. I got the Y pipe as well.

I have the Magnaflow Magnapak. Ran it for 2 months with resonators. I just cut the resonators off this past Tuesday. Not only does it sound unbelievable now, for some strange reason I went from getting 13.9 mpg city to 15 mpg city. And I have been hammering it for the past few days because it sounds so damn pretty.

Why have a muffler at all. Just run the resonators as a true dual exhaust. Or run dual cherry bomb, no Y pipe, best open flow you can get. Maybe your mileage will be even better.
