I looked at the Borla but it appears to be quite a bit more expensive, is there a reason for the cost difference?

Do you have a sound/video clip of your exhaust?

Just my input...I've had an exhaust on my vehicles since i've owned one...as a northern redneck the 14" maggie sounds great but is too quiet

Swapped with a flowmaster & im thoroughly impressed! Borla makes a quality muffler, give it a shot.
Buddy, maybe if you had a HEMI with the magnaflow you'd be impressed, you have a 4.7l motor, let's compare apples with apples. The guy asking the question has a HEMI so I'll have to answer and say my 14" mufflex sounds awesome and ya I use to run flowmaster super 40's about 15 years ago.

With Borla which I had, you pay for the name; not much difference from Borla, Magnaflow and Dynomax internals if your comparing the straight through designs.

Mine just arrived with my smooth transition y pipe having it put on tuesday

Looked into exhausts for awhile before deciding to get my magnaflow single in dual out and also got the y pipe for 120 shipped and the mufflex dod14m is the same muffler but in a bolt on versio but fir almost 300 shipped. IMHO the mufflex is a bit overpriced bc u can have someone install virtually the same setup for a total cost of between 230 and 250 depending on the shops rates and u dont have to do it yourself.

just my input. Either way you cant go wrong, both great brands!
