(serves me right for putting that out there).
If we promise not to hold you to it, would you venture an updated guess?

I hear you... I haven't heard from them that it is prepped yet, but VOTS shows delivery. To make it easier to wait, I'm picking up visitors at the airport in an hour and it doesn't seem right to welcome them to town by heading off to the dealer for a couple of hours.

10/1-10/15. What happened is Ram wanted to pull ahead the '14s. There is a lead time to get everything prepped and ready to go and the original September release date got pulled up and ordering was opened. Normally, things go like the Jeeps and the pro asters. The models show up on the sites around when ordering opens. Pulling a vehicle ahead doesn't reduce the activities to get stuff together for marketing, owner sites, vots, etc. still gotta get images, put marketing content together, legal approvals, etc. and all that takes time.

Hence the bit of disconnect between the sites and the ordering situation.

Can you beat this?
2014 SLT regular cab ordered on 6/28, built on 7/15, put in storage for 5 weeks at plant, put on a train car on 8/24 and as of this morning, 8/30, the train is still in Mexico awaiting customs clearance at the border!
How can Ram survive?!

spp - Thanks. That makes sense. I appreciate the explanation though.
I'm probably sitting tight for the diesel anyway, so that timing will be just about perfect.

Default Build dates for 2500?

I just ordered a 2500 Laramie Diesel. Do we know when they are going to be built. Looking forward to the coil-overs in the rear?
