I kept single outlet. Its basically a direct replacement of the muffler and you keep the tail pipe and everything. By looking at it you wouldn't be able till tell I did anything until I started the truck. I couldn't replace the whole system on a brand new truck. As you can see I as many on here did it for a lot less than the price of the system. Now if you going to h e it welded expect to pay a shop another 100$. I decided to try clamping it as its much cheaper. If I have any issues I'll just have it welded later on

If you're wanting performance go with Magnaflow. If you're wanting as loud as possible go with Flowmaster.

My suggestion would be to get a Magnaflow y pipe and muffler and then take them to an exhaust shop and have them welded in. This should come in under your price range as well. Just another idea.

Are you wanting loud or just a little more than stock?

The mags are on the quieter side, then if you want louder there's flow master 40s and 10 series.

Or a straight thru that's pretty loud is the dynomax bullet that are about like a flowmaster super ,44 in volume.

I personally love the cherry bomb extreme, but I like to echo of buildings going thru town. Lol.

Just go to a muffler shop and have them weld a muffler on for u. Magnaflow sound is a joke mine as well keep it stock. If you want good sounding solid cat-back exhaust system look into these:

1. CORSA performance (sport muffler is loud...but a little pricey)
2. FLOWMASTER ( I have flow 40 welded in place of stock muffler. Love it!)
3. SOLO Performance ( mach 44 series. Deep rumble)
4. FLOWPRO exhaust (knock off of flowmaster...same sound)
5. BORLA exhaust (XR1 sport racing muffler is there's at truck muffler)

These are the best IMO. I'm about to true dual and add another flowmaster 40 muffler and add an x pipe. But I don't pay labor I'm a mechanic who does my own work.

I hope my thread helps.
I was about $200 + consumables time and a sore neck to put in my muffler, I would have been $250 (including the muffler price) to have someone else do it.
If I did it again I would spend that $625 on the catback all day long.

The Magnaflow sound is perfect IMO, I don't need to scare the kids 3 blocks away, just a nice sound.

I realize that you are single in/out in your truck, but the costs are pretty much the same.
