I'm probably overreacting but those boys worked until 2AM last night sorting through my Ram. She started at a super rich 350 whp and fluctuated for hours until Josh started to nail down the tune. Eight hours of tuning and to only charge me $350. For them, it isn't about the money, it's about the project. Heck, Josh doesn't even work on Rams so if it wasn't for Mike doing the work, and his relationship with HHP, I'd be screwed!

So yeah, mentioning that they may be blowing smoke up my ass is out of line. Ask all the questions you want but be respectful.

You're still over reacting and you're putting words in my mouth. I did not say they were blowing smoke up your a$$. I'll quote what you said: according to Mike and Josh it's the reality of the new plastic intake manifolds. And then you lost me with: it shows up on the dyno with reflective runners changing over (both 6.4 and 5.7?). Followed by, the only intake that doesn't do this is the 6.1 but you lose a little torque done low. EDIT: Sounds to me you were quoting Mike and Josh saying they were identical or similar. As of now I still have no idea what the heck you were trying to explain.

I am by no means an engine builder so my understanding of their explanation may be off kilt. But I will say this, everything you mentioned originally regarding your calculations is absolutely true IMO save for one thing: VVT

Those calculations work like a bible for non VVT motors. It's a whole different world when your motor can retard timing by 47 degrees.

So that being said, the hatchet is buried on my end. I'm sure you meant no harm with the "make me happy" comments. I get defensive of the guys that have been busting their balls trying to do this dream project of mine! So let's just chalk it up to me overreacting. Sorry man, you meant no harm and I think I read too deep into the whole thing.

I wish there was more hemi tuners like this in other places. I think if i had a real committed guy on my dyno run's i could have had a much better tune but oh well. Loving the build .

Can you pm me a quote what this job would cost? Minus coilovers and paddle shifters. I do think a brake upgrade would be smart, but a bbk job would be expensive. So just an upgrade to the pads and rotors. And of course the trans upgrade. Also throw me a number on a single turbo add on.

You may want to rethink the BBK upgrade when we're done. I never take the easy way out so I've asked Mike to create new spindles/caliper brackets to mount SRT8 Brembos right onto our rotors. Killer clamping force and an entire set of Brembos goes for around $500 used. And these ones use our brake lines without modification.
