I'm strongly considering buying a Bucher Duro II for camper conversion.
It has a Cummins 5.9 Ltr ISBe engine, which I know little about.
I've read about the Cummins and Dodges on Wiki, and there it seems as the electrical model was introduced in 2007.
Is 5.9 Ltr ISBe a standard engine, used in normal trucks?
Can I rely on this engine, with so much electronics?
Is there any modifications I should eventually do, like adding an extra diesel filter?
Does it have O2 sensors etc. which should be disengaged by programming and afterwards removed?
If I find the engine unrelyable, can I remove the 'e' and convert it into a more mechanical engine?
Any tips are welcome.
